Seventh grade head football coach.

Presented a short lecture that compared and contrasted the famous Trinity icon written by Rublev and the Misere series of prints executed by Georges Roualt. The presentation explored the differences between images produced for liturgical purposes and those which reflect some level of personal revelation.

Presented a two hour lecture entitled "The Seen and the Unseen: The creative processes, or experiences, of painting, prayer and the eucharist. The presentation grew out of an analysis and the comparison of three works produced by Rembrandt van Rijn and an installation that I had created for an exhibition at St. john's University entiltled "A Conversion Story".

Presented a short lecture about El Greco's painting "Agony in the Garden". In the presentation I contrasted tools that a painter may use to see and compose a painting and spiritual tools, like the examination of conscience, that can be used to examine one's life and prepare for the sacrament of confession.

Equus Computer Systems, St. Paul, Minnesota. 2000 - 2002
While employed at Equus Computer Systems I developed and taught a course, on a monthly basis, that introduced all of the new employees to the companies ISO 9002/1994 quality management system.

Dakota County Historical Society, South St. Paul, Minnesota. 1994-2000
While employed at the DCHS I presented custom-made local history educational programs to people of all ages. About 5,000 people of all ages participated in these programs during an average year.

District 197, Dakota County, Minnesota. February 2000.
Designed and developed an "Introduction to the Museum" research class for teachers from District 197 seeking continuing education credit.

Created and taught an "Introduction to the Museum" research class for two community education organizations.

Presented a lecture during the Project Wet workshop held at the Dakota City Heritage Village. Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota. June 1998. Presented lecture during Project Wet workshop held at the DCHS.

Presented a lecture at the Project Wet workshop and led field trip to historic sites in Hastings, Minnesota.

Presented a lecture that examined a history of the Mdewakanton Dakota people.

Dakota County Historical Society, South St. Paul, Minnesota. August 1993.
Education Programs Coordinator: Developed and presented local history educational programs for the DCHS. The responsibilities of this position were included in my job description when I became the museum's director in 1994.

St. John's University, Collegeville, Minnesota. March 1994.
Presented a lecture and facilitated a discussion with students and faculty regarding the installation, that I was exhibiting at the time.

St. Paul Public Schools, Minneapolis Public Schools, and Independent School District 196. November 1992 - May, 1994.
Substitute Teacher: Taught a variety of subjects K-12

Minnesota Museum of American Art, St. Paul, Minnesota.
After School Art Instructor: Winter, 1992. Taught drawing to K-6 students.

Student Teacher: Taught within high school and intermediate school art curriculum.

Fire House Art Center, Steubenville, Ohio. September 1988 - May, 1989.
Director of Education and Events: Recruited students, developed curriculum, taught courses, organized fundraising activities and volunteers, wrote grants, curated seven exhibitions, handled public relations, and served as juror for both the 18th Congressional District Art Competition and the Jefferson County Fair Housing Art Competition. Produced 70 oil paintings as Artist in Residence.
