Playing live at the Turf Club before they moved the stage to the back of the bar from the front door. Dan Page on the left, I played the drums and Aaron Smith with his back turned to the camera played bass guitar. We played all of the usual venues in town, 7th Street Entry, The Red Sea, The 400 club, The Turf Club, and many other clubs and even a few coffee shops. We did acoustic versions of our shows in coffee shops like the Black Dog Café in the Northern Warehouse. We also played regularly in St. Cloud and Mankato but never did any touring out of state. We all had regular guy jobs at that time and my son Louis was a couple years old and so taking off to live out of a car and flop on random floors after shows didn't seem like it would be great fun.
